Sprinter's March celebrations

Published: 05/04/2017

Although most attention during March is directed towards the action at Cheltenham, Sprint Specialiser’s focus was on the month’s all weather Flat action, and the result was a spectacular table-topping 92-point yield.

EachWay Accas returned to form with a second-place tally of 39.14 points, while Under The Radar finished third with 21.35 points, which was enough to maintain top position in the overall 2017 table.

After posting solid profits in the first two months of the new year, it was apparent that the 2016 champions, Sprint Specialiser, were in fine fettle. They were denied top position in January and again in February, but there was no stopping them last month. March produced a return on investment of more than 69%, thanks to winners of the calibre of 12/1 advice Viva Verglas (Southwell, 7 March), 8/1 Dashing Poet (Chelmsford City, 16 March) and 7/1 Ambitious Icarus (Newcastle, 4 March).

Since joining Toptipsters in January 2016, Sprint Specialiser have posted profits eleven times in fourteen months. They also have a habit of winning big as all eleven yields were of at least 42 points. And thanks to the success of 25/1 advice Captain Lars at Chelmsford City on the opening day of April, they are well placed to add to that superb record.

Since posting a remarkable 289-point profit in October, EachWay Accas have been out of the limelight, but with a near 40-point March profit, it is clear they are back on song. The success of 16/1 advice, Willoughby Court, at Cheltenham on 15 March was the start of an outstanding spell which also featured 25/1 Monologue (Kempton, 22 March), 11/1 Gavlar (Newcasle, 22 March) and 16/1 Locommotion (Lingfield, 29 March).

Under The Radar, who began 2017 with a breath-taking 293.88-point profit, suffered a loss in February. But they returned to winning ways in March with a 21.35-point yield. Winners included14/1 advice Gavlar (Newcastle, 22 March) and three 12/1 strikes, Monfass (Doncaster, 3 March), Redkalani (Catterick, 8 March) and Sea of Green (Newcastle, 10 March).

Foolaad, a winning 7/1 advice at Newcastle on the opening day of March, propelled Golden Pony towards a third profitable month out of four on Toptipsters.

So, we are already a quarter of the way through 2017, and Under The Radar sit pretty at the top of the overall table with a 206.90 profit. Sprint Specialiser leap up from fourth to second (187.54 points) while Early Price Profits (123.69 points) remain in third position. Colwyn Racing sit in fourth positions ahead of Blue Ribbon, who drop from second to fifth.
