Sensational John's Value Selections top the table - again

Published: 04/11/2018

Subscribers to Johns Value Selections ended October in a blissful mood as the summer’s extraordinary form continued as the leaves started to fall. A 203.96-point yield, the third return of more than 200 points in four months, ensured top spot in the October list.

The Info Line finished second, with a return of 117.22 points. Tony McRacing, Lazy Mans Loot and Profit Club Official also ended October with profits, while DH Racing and LMR Racing both missed out by a fraction.

Joining Toptipsters in March, Johns Value Selections caught the eye in April with a 195-point posting. This was followed by sensational returns of 257 and 275 points in July and August. (August’s profit remains the highest of 2018). September’s return was a sedate 16.96-points, but October saw a return to the heavy hitting days of summer. Two winning 33/1 advices, Carvelas (Chelmsford City, 11 October) and Azunu (Yarmouth, 15 October) sent the profit rocketing. Time For A Toot (16/1, Haydock, 19 October) and Little Miss Lilly (16/1, Kempton, 22 October) kept the scoreboard ticking, while November has also begun positively with a 12/1 victor and two 7/1 strikes.

The Info Line celebrated a year with Toptipsters with a personal best 117.22-point profit, which bettered August’s 84-point yield. The tale of the month is something of a roller-coaster, with early gains secured by the likes of 18/1 Sempre Presto (Pontefract, 8 October) and 14/1 Winged Spur (Redcar, 6 October) not to mention a four-winner haul on 5 October – the day’s other two selections were both placed. At the close of play on 15 October, the month showed a 122-point gain, but a frustrating sequence of near-misses cut into that profit. Happily, normal service was quickly resumed with 33/1 Bell Rock (Newmarket, 24 October) spearheading a spectacular revival.

Like Johns Value Selections and The Info Line, Tony Mc Racing is currently in fine fettle. October’s 26.20-point yield was the fourth consecutive profitable month with plenty of nice earners including three winning 12/1 advices, American Endeavour (Kempton, 17 October), Flowing Clarets (Windsor, 22 October) and Tarboosh (Doncaster, 27 October).

Lazy Man’s Loot moved into credit for the year thanks to a 1.95-point October gain. Winners included two 14/1 advices, Intense Romance (Ascot, 6 October) and Valentino Sunrise (Haydock, 19 October) and Sparklealot, successful at 8/1 at Goodwood on 14 October.

Profit Club Official followed September’s impressive 83-point debut month return with a small October profit of 3.08 points. Modest thought this appears, there were plenty of good winners including two at 11s: Sir Thomas Gresham (Windsor, 8 October) and Metatron (Wolverhampton, 18 October).

Early Price Profits are still well clear at the head of the 2018 Toptipsters’ table. Despite a losing month, the lead is still more than 128 points over Sprint Specialiser, who also suffered a losing month. Given that the respective tallies of the leading pair are 471.38 points and 342.84, these slips-up can be excused. Sandbets are third with 188.10 points, ahead of Profit Club Official (86.14 points), Tip Top Tips (36.75 points), LMR Racing (7.01 points) and Lazy Mans Loot (5.45 points).
