New boys make hot start

Four new services have joined Toptipsters since our last review and all have made an impact in early exchanges.

Iknowtheloser – Premium joined Toptipsters on 7 August and made an immediate impact with four winners, three seconds and a third from 10 selections on day one. This haul included 8/1 advice Pressure Point, a winner at Musselburgh. Subsequent days have all yielded winners and currently the record reads 13 winners from 48 selections (27% strike rate). In all 31 selections (65%) have finished in the first three. And with odds averaging around 9/2, it is not difficult to recognise the potential here.

Averaging around two bets a day, Peter James started posting on 29 July.  He is currently operating to a 35% strike rate with winners priced up to 4/1.

Two winners on day one (28 July) ensured RacingIntel made a lucrative start to life with Toptipsters. This service, which claims the route to profit is via “insider intelligence, horse wellbeing” is certainly contributing to punter wellbeing thanks to an August record that currently reads 10 wins and 20 seconds/thirds from 39 selections.

The fourth newcomer is Super31, a service that gives five selections each day, which could be backed in a lucky 31 bet. (For those not versed in the lexicon of betting, this is a wager in which five selections are backed in singles, doubles, trebles, four-timers and a five horse accumulator. This all adds up to 31 bets (or 62 for the cautious each-way punter). Although the chances of a return are good, making big money is fiendishly difficult. To cover costs the punter needs at least two of the five selections to win at odds of 4/1 or above.)

Nevertheless, as EachWayAccas has demonstrated, this style of betting can be extremely profitable, so we wish Super31 well. So far results have been encouraging; with a little good fortune the 9 August selections (2 winners and 3 placed horses) could well have yielded a profit of more than £1375 for a £31 stake.

And speaking of EachWayAccas, July was another month of profit, spearheaded by the victories of 33/1 advice Gworn (Ayr, 27 July), 20/1 Nocturn (Windsor, 6 July) and Nakuti, another 20/1 advice (Pontefract, 7 July). Oh, yes, there were also two 16/1 winners, one at 14s, one at 12/1 and two at 11/1. It all added up to a stupefying 196.3 point profit – one of the highest monthly gains in the history of Besttipping/Toptipsters. That was the fourth profitable month and already August threatens the same. Overall, EachWayAccas has now accumulated 565.15 points – a remarkable achievement given the high odds strategy employed.

July was a seventh profitable month out of eight for Pace2Win, and this service now stands in third place in the overall table.
