Bookies Run For Cover After Three-pronged Attack

October proved to be a record-breaking month at Toptipsters, with two services posting monthly profits in excess of 289 points and a third registering a 144-point profit, a figure which, in any other month this year, would have earned first position. These extraordinary returns come at a time of the year when results are often unpredictable with the Flat season coming to an end, and the jumpers not yet fully prepared for the winter’s exertions.

Leisure Sports Services claimed first place in the October list with a staggering return of 348.35 points. For much of the month, it was a neck and neck race between the victors and EachWayAccas, who ended October with a 289.25 gain, and second place in the monthly list.

Last month’s winners, Early Price Profits, posted a 144.97-point yield. This was almost 50% more than last month’s table-topping effort, but this time it was only good enough for third place!

Sims Racing and Winning Wagers finished fourth and fifth, while Blue Ribbon Tipping, Peter James, and Tipster Pro also claimed October profits.

Since joining Toptipsters in February, Leisure Sports Services have made steady progress. Profits were posted in each of the first three months, but until this month, the 41.90 points earned in August was their best return. That figure was obliterated as the rampant service found winner after winner. Ironically, the month began badly and, after three days, losses amounted to 40 points. That loss had been reduced to 10 points by the end of play on 6 October, and the successes of 33/1 advice Calvinist at York and 10/1 Aclaim at Newmarket the following day heralded a run of impressive returns which included a 14/1 winner, one at 10s and three at 9s.  The overall return on investment was 103%, while the win strike-rate was a healthy 26.45%.

Leisure Sports Services’ haul was the second highest monthly figure in Toptipsters history, bettered only by EachWayAccas remarkable May 2015 profit of 394.60 points. And to prove they are still very much in the game, EachWayAccas registered a 289.25 October gain. It was the third time the accumulator-based tipster had recorded monthly profits of more than 250 points and included Muntabad, a 50/1 advice, who won a Doncaster sprint on 21 October and 20/1 Amood (Newcastle, 28 October). October’s success came after a relatively quiet period, during which they had ceded the lead at the head of the overall 2016 table to long-term foes, Sprint Specialiser.  They now trial that rival by 123 points, but a repeat of this month’s achievement would breathe new life into the title race.

Early Price Profits’ October yield of 144.97 points was the result of a solid month of winner-finding. Successes included 10/1 Burning Thread (Bath, 12 October) and the overall win-strike-rate was 34%, a fine effort given that they provided up to ten selections a day.

Although overshadowed by the achievements of the front three this month, Sims Racing’s 24.89-point profit, with a near 30% win-strike-rate, was an eye-catching performance. Much the same could be said about Toptipsters’ debutant Winning Wager. Winners at 10/1, 8/1 and 7s helped secure a 19.14-point first month profit.
