EachWay Accas returned to the top of the 2016 Toptipsters table with a strong April showing which yielded an overall profit of 91.2points. Early pacesetters, Sprint Specialiser slipped to second, despite a robust 56point April profit. Home Straight and Leisure Sports Services finished third and fourth while Peter James and Colwyn Racing also registered April gains.

Having claimed the 2015 Toptipsters title, EachWay Accas made a steady start to 2016 with second spots in January and February (behind Sprint Specialiser on both occasions). After a testing March, the accumulator wizards bounced back with a huge April return.

Victories for two 20/1 advices, Lily’s Rainbow (Navan, 17 April) and Russian Royale (Catterick, 20 April), together with successes for 18/1 Secret Brief (Doncaster, 2 April), 14/1 Jodies Gem (Kempton, 13 April) and 14/1 Russian Realm Goodwood, 30 April) secured April glory.

Despite having to settle for second place, Sprint Specialiser were in fine fettle themselves, as the victories of 14/1 advice Bowson Fred (Wolverhampton, 8 April) and 12/1 Tumblewind (Thirsk, 24 April) will indicate. There were also winners at 17/2 and two at 13/2.

Sprint Specialiser have also been quick out of the stalls in May, with a profit of 40.75 from the first week of action.

Home Straight were untouchable at Aintree with five winners, including 14/1 advice God’s Own (8 April). It all added up to a 14.25 yield and third place in the April table, just ahead of Leisure Sports Services who finished the month 12.75points up. This followed a month of spectacular results most notably 20/1 advice Roudee, a winner at Doncaster on 3 April and two 12/1 strikes, Barwick (Epsom Downs, 20 April) and Dinneratmidnight (Pontefract, 27 April).

With three profitable months out of three since joined Toptipsters in February, Leisure Sports Services are now third in the 2016 table with 56.52points ahead of Peter James and Saffron Racing.
