66/1 winner helps Early Price Profits move into commanding position

Published: 02/06/2018

After finishing second in the Toptipsters’ Challenge in 2016 and 2017, Early Price Profits are well placed to go one better this year. Thanks to a huge May haul of 232.49 points, they are more than two hundred points clear of second placed AB Tips, while Sprint Specialiser, thanks to a second consecutive gain of more than a hundred points, have moved up to third.

May’s monster return, a personal best for Early Price Profits was also the service’s ninth consecutive month of profit. It was secured with a 46% return on investment (ROI) and was highlighted by the success of a 66/1 advice Grey Britain at Newmarket (6 May).  Three 14/1 winners were also advised: Secretario (Chelmsford City, 3 May), Let’s Sway (Wincanton, 15 May) and Almanack (Chelmsford City, 28 May). The swag-bag also included a 12/1 winner, three at 11s, three at 10s and five at 9/1.

As is usually the way with Early Price Profits, winners were spread fairly evenly throughout the month, which meant that long losing sequences were rarely encountered.

Sprint Specialiser began 2018 quietly, but the last two months have seen a return to the kind of form that secured victory in the 2016 Toptipsters’ Challenge. Last month’s return of 107 points was the best monthly return for two years. And that was followed by a new personal best monthly gain of 126.76 point in May (68% ROI).

The month’s three best results were all secured at Yorkshire tracks: Pearl Noir (12/1, Thirsk, 12 May) was followed four days later by George Bowen (14/1, York) and Rose Marmara (10/1 Catterick, 24 May). Overall, strike-rate was an impressive 25%.

Third in the May listing came Inside Information On Horse Racing, whose first monthly offering was a highly satisfactory 36.68-point yield, earned with a 47% win-strike-rate and a 72% ROI. Eight of the months 17 selections finished first (at prices up to 9/2), four finished second and one came in third.

Another service hitting peak form is Tip Top Tips, who followed April’s 28-point posting with a 30.84-point gain in May. Winners included 18/1 Buachaill Alainn (Cartmel, 28 May) and 9/1 Oasis Charm (Newmarket, 5 May).

Past The Post Racing made a useful 15.50-point May profit with Yafta (7/1, Newmarket, 19 May) the best of 25 winning selections (33% strike-rate). The last week of May saw the strike-rate hit 40% as six out of fifteen tips prevailed.

Trade The Prices’ auspicious start to life with Toptipsters continues with a 12.97-point May yield to add to April’s profitable figure of 59-points. May’s successes included two 15/2 advices, He’s Amazing (Newmarket, 6 May) and Captain Mowbray (Cartmel, 26 May).

The Info Line also secured a May profit, thanks to Indian Vision, a winning 16/1 advice at Redcar on 26 May.

June offers opportunities galore. The Flat season is now in full swing, with Royal Ascot following this weekend’s action at Epsom, while summer jumping and all-weather action mean that there will be something for everyone.
